My name is Sergi Barroso, I am the face of Shakoukai.

As a brief personal history, 2006 was the year I purchased my first SLR camera, since then I have been honing my skills and improving my photography to finally find what I really like about photography and present my work under the name of Shakoukai.

Shakoukai comes from a Japanese compound word using kanji characters that make reference to my photography style. The translation for this compound word is "capturing world's light", and this is what I'm trying to express in every capture of the world I'm taking with my camera. From this philosophy and from my work sprang up this entity I dislike to define it as company, which is fully devoted to the world of photography.

Here you can see most of my work. Do not hesitate to contact me in order to get commercial use authorization or for any photographic project proposal.
